Not a good sign

His Hehness is running a poll on spending plans for this holiday season. 

It’s not a scientific poll and doubtless has significant self-selection bias. But it does not look good for retailers.

Personally, I find this lack of consumer faith disturbing.

Even though I checked the “spending a bit less” box myself.
