Richardson Probe ‘Was Killed In Washington’

Not our commerce secretary

Even one as lacking in superficial appeal as Richardson.

You may recall that Richardson was nominated as Commerce Secretary early in B.O.’s tenure as President, but withdrew because of allegations of ethics violations. Well, now it appears the Obama Adminstration has deep-sixed the investigation.

Richardson switched from the Hillary camp to the Obama camp at a crucial point in the election last year. Never let it be said that Obama forgets all his political debts. Being thrown under the bus seems to be reserved for grandmothers, preachers, and former terrorists.

I have attended town halls given by Richardson, and the best way to put it is that he is much more charming than he seems. Very slick. But then he studied under the master.
